Real Estate Is In My Blood In 1887, my great grandfather, William Henry Emery, immigrated to America from Edinborough, Scotland. He eventually found success as a real estate agent in Rochester, New York where he organized the first professional Realtor group in the country to adopt a Code of Ethics. I never knew this until I had already started my career in real estate, but it somehow feels just right. I have always abided by our own Code, which is based on the timeless principle of "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you", and I know my great grandfather would have been proud. I am not only named after him, but, ironically, grew up in a city named after Edinborough (Edina, MN) and practice my profession with the same high standards as William Henry Emery. |
